Social naturism feels different because appearance stops doing so much of the social work. When the room gets quieter, respect becomes easier to notice.
I used to think naked hiking was mainly about courage.
Now I think it’s mostly about presence.
When you remove the fabric barrier, the whole walk changes: wind, temperature, terrain, and movement become much more immediate. It feels less like “watching nature” and more like being inside it.
