I am 5 days post co2 pixel peel. This was advertised as “little to no downtime”, yet you can see from my pictures that was far from true for me.

Has anyone experienced this type of prickly, heat rash after a laser that will not go away? The swelling is starting to subside, but this rash will not go away and I have yet to see any shedding of dead skin.

I had this done at an aesthetics spa. Do I need to see a doctor?

I am 36, and had a pixel peel done on Thursday, April 23rd. The top photo is from the night of the peel, and the bottom photo is right now.

I have so much swelling, and raised itchy hives all over my face. I’ve tried Benadryl but it doesn’t seem to help the swelling or itching and just knocks me out. Is this normal? I’ve already contacts my provider and they said this is to be expected but I am struggling big time. Just want to hear others experiences.
