There's a ton of these on this sub. A lot of the watch subs also had this problem, and it was usually new reg accounts, trying to figure out if their knock-offs would pass muster and fool people.
Any reasons to avoid PC Specialist? Last PC I put together was when I was a youth, and had a Pentium 4! So, I'm not really confident in putting one together. And honestly, looking at the individual pricing parts, there isn't much difference. Was half looking a Alienware (the new area 51s seem mostly decent) for the laugh, but the config shot up over 1800 euro since last week, and the price was already ridiculous.
This will be my first gaming desktop PC since I gave up on pc gaming and bought an Xbox 360 when they launched. And I've been saving for a VR high end tier (5090, 9850x3d, 64gb) system for about 7 years now. Which was put off by cards not being powerful enough (eg 3080s), or covid, semiconductor shortages, or bit coin mining, or now the RAM apocalypse. I can't see pricing not correcting in the next 18 months, unless the AI bubble bursts.
