My dog has digestive issues so I created a stool analysis and health tracking app

No im not chat gpt , I’m typing this myself. I made a pretty rad dog health app, maybe some others who might find it helpful if there looking for an easier way to track dogs diet, stool, symptoms and mood and sleep.

My dog is a German shepherd and then previous owner didn’t take care of it well and it had to have stomach surgery from eating metal scraps in garage.

If you have any interest in the app I made for my dog and other pet owners check it out or don’t doesn’t matter lol https://apps.apple.com/us/app/puplytics-dog-poop-tracker/id6767871361

Let me know what you think.

I just launched my first app after ~3 weeks of nonstop vibe coding and somehow survived like 10 App Store rejections 😭

The app is called Puplytics.

Before this project I had basically zero real coding experience. I went from not understanding app structure at all to learning React Native / Expo workflows, App Store Connect, subscriptions, AI APIs, privacy compliance, camera permissions, TestFlight builds, backend deployment, and debugging random production issues at 2am.

Honestly the hardest part wasn’t even building the app — it was getting through Apple review.

I got rejected for:
• subscription flow issues
• missing legal links
• camera permission wording
• AI consent flow compliance
• metadata problems
• purchase restore handling
• sandbox purchase behavior
• UI edge cases on iPad
…and probably more I’m forgetting lol.

The app itself is a dog wellness tracking app focused on digestive health and daily wellness tracking.

Features include:
• AI stool scan analysis
• symptom tracking
• food logging
• sleep & mood tracking
• AI wellness chat
• trend analysis
• downloadable vet reports
• multi-pet support
• reminders and history timelines

The original idea came from dealing with recurring stomach issues with my own dog and constantly forgetting what food changes or symptoms happened during vet visits.

So I basically built the app I wished existed.

The craziest part is realizing how much you can actually build now if you’re willing to learn while moving fast.

Would genuinely love feedback from other builders / vibe coders:
• UI/UX thoughts
• onboarding feedback
• feature ideas
• App Store screenshots
• monetization thoughts
• anything that feels confusing or broken

Still improving it daily. (As of right now it’s been live for about 20 minutes lol)

The app is called Puplytics on the App Store if anyone wants to roast/test it 🙏

Got my freemium app up and running (my first iOS app)

Hey fellow app devs/dog enthusiasts; I wanted to share something I built after dealing with ongoing stomach issues and food sensitivity problems with my own dog.

I was constantly trying to remember:
• what food he ate
• when symptoms started
• stool changes
• vet notes
• sleep/mood patterns
• whether things were actually improving or not

Eventually I got tired of trying to keep everything in my head or scattered through notes, so I started building an app called Puplytics.

It’s basically a dog wellness tracker focused on digestive health, symptom trends, food tracking, stool scans, AI wellness reports, reminders, and organized vet history.

Some features:
• AI-assisted stool scan tracking
• Food + symptom comparison tracking
• Daily health logs
• Sleep & mood tracking
• Wellness history timeline
• AI pet wellness chat
• Downloadable wellness reports for vet visits

This is actually the very first app I’ve ever programmed, so it’s been a huge learning process for me.

I’d seriously appreciate feedback from real pet owners:
• What features would actually help you?
• What would make tracking easier?
• Anything confusing or annoying?
• What would you want added?

The app is called Puplytics on the App Store if anyone wants to check it out.

Would genuinely appreciate any feedback from other dog owners 🤙🤙

My app finally got on the App Store! This is my first iOS build…

Hey everyone — I wanted to share something I’ve been working on for the past several months.

I recently built and launched my very first app called Puplytics… ( if u wana check it out: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/puplytics/id6767871361 )….I had zero app development experience before starting this project, so this has honestly been one giant learning process from beginning to end. The build took about 10 twelve hour days and a week of testing. I made entire thing from chat gpt prompts, so I know I’m a noob, feel free to burn me lol

The app is focused on dog wellness tracking and was inspired by dealing with recurring stomach/digestive issues with my own dog. I found myself constantly forgetting symptoms, food changes, stool patterns, vet notes, etc. so I wanted to build something that could organize all of it in one place.

Puplytics lets you:
• Track stool quality and digestive trends
• Log meals, symptoms, sleep, mood, and wellness history
• Generate AI-assisted wellness reports
• Compare food patterns with symptom changes
• Save pet profiles and daily logs
• Use an AI pet wellness chat trained around your dog’s history

I know it’s not perfect yet, but I’m happy that I was actually able to take an idea and turn it into a real app on the App Store.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, feature ideas, UI suggestions, bug reports, or thoughts from fellow dog owners. Even small feedback helps a lot since I’m still improving everything daily.

If anyone wants to check it out, it’s called Puplytics on the App Store.

Thanks for reading 🙏
