In desperate need of project ideas for a kilo of this yarn
I just got my hands on a full kilogram of this hand spun, undyed wool yarn. However, some mistakes were made.
It's VERY scratchy. I knew that this would be the case going in, and I originally planned on using it for winter socks and stuff. However, mistake number 2: the recommended needle size was 4-4.5mm, and even in the photos it seemed thinner than it is. In the sample i used 5mm needles and it's making a super thick fabric.
I want to hand dye it for sure, but i don't know what i could use it for. It's 130m/100g with an approximate gauge of 16x22, but that can vary.
Any idea is appreciated
P.s. I fully plan to order one more kilo of the thinner weight for socks, since it's otherwise a lovely material.
