Neighbour blocks our driveway and then screams at us when we ask her to move the car
I've never shared this before, but recently i've been getting quite irritated by this neighbour and her attempts to act like a decent human being. This is one of many videos of her causing issues for us.
Context: This was from 2023. We just bought our first house and we moved from the south of england to the north of england. We had only been here since February. This is our first Christmas together. We get along with every neighbour on the street, including this lot, but they had been blocking our driveway regularly since we moved in. On christmas eve, their daughter, once again, blocked our driveway just before 9pm, and kept it there until 8:30am the next morning. I knocked on 3 times to ask them to move it, with no answer. I walk back to my house, and I write a simple letter asking them to move it as soon as possible as we need access to our driveway at all times. This is when the mother knocks on our door just before midnight to complain, and the rest is in the video.
Things have only recently improved since involving a PCSO, but it hasn't stopped her from treating us like we've committed a crime. Recently she's blamed us for killing her dog, as we had chickens at the time, and apparently that caused an influx of rats that bit her dog, and she has had to spend "thousands", only for it to be put to sleep. We called the local environmental agency round, and they told us that we aren't to blame for the rats. They come every year. Once again, this is only one of the many things she has done to ruin our experience living here, and I just needed a space to vent and to hopefully feel less like I'm wrong for feeling so horrid towards her and her daughter.
Edit: 2 months previous, we spent a ton of money, nearly crippling us, to install a dropped kerb. This was done to stop them from constantly blocking us in and out. So, in this video, they're blocking our new dropped kerb.
Edit 2: The camera is only facing ahead as I was trying to capture proof of their behaviour for a complaint we were putting through to their housing association. Luckily for us, her reaction helped us push for a PCSO instead. Usually, the camera only aims at our door.
