Late May Easy-to-Moderate Hiking?
Hello!
TL;DR: Traveling solo to MT the last week of May and am looking for easy-to-moderate hiking trails!
I will preface this by saying that this was a very spontaneous trip and planned pretty last-minute, so there unfortunately wasn't a lot of time to do much research — which I am feeling the affects of now lol.
I was really hoping I'd be able to join a group/guided hike in the park, but after searching for a few days over multiple websites it seems I'm missing the start of the guided hike season by about a week 😅 (or a month in some cases)
That being saaiidd, I still absolutely want to see the park, so I'll be hiking solo! I'm also not a particularly advanced hiker and have never been to Glacier before, so for safety reasons, I'd like to stick with easy-to-moderate trails (preferably less than 1,000ft elevation gain and around 10 or less miles round-trip, easy terrain) — purely bonus points if they are known to have a relatively decent amount of traffic around that time of year as well!
OR if there are any recommendations for group hikes going on during the last week of May that I missed during my googling, that would be amazing too!! (Just for reference, I have already checked the Glacier Tourbase, Glacier Institute, and Glacier Guides websites.)
Thank you all SO much in advance for any recommendations, all advice is much appreciated! 😁
