did i take the wrong decision

Recently, I committed to UW Madison for my undergrad in engineering starting fall. I also just got off the waitlist at NYU for ece starting spring 2027.

In the end, I decided to stick with UW Madison.

I just feel like I need some validation in the decision i have taken.

Ik that UW is the better engineering but somehow I feel that I might have missed out on the prestige and opportunities associated with NYU.

Please do share any of your thoughts regarding this!

PS: Another reason I went ahead with UW was that I felt waiting until spring for NYU wasn't worth it.

NYU or UW for Electrical Engineering

Hi,

I got admitted to UW Madison fall 2026 for computer engineering and into NYU electrical and computer engineering spring 2027. Without looking at the cost factor, which program would be more beneficial from an engineering standpoint, campus experience, and job opportunities?

Edit: this is for computer engineering and electrical engineering

Hi,

I was wondering if the rooms in Phillips and Lowell residence halls are only for the LGBTQ+ community or is it also for males/females?
