Doubt with playing games without the cd

I'm trying to play the house of the dead and the game itself has no problems, but I don't want to use the cd every time, and neither to mount and image, I'm looking to just had my games on a folder and I already found a lot of solutions for my other ones, but this games just doesn't let me, I tried modifying the paths, installing old no cd patch, but I just can't get it to work without the cd, is there a way to do it or I just have to play it the old way.

Pick up this bad boy from the side of a railroad

I find this and another PC that I turner into a nas while helping a friend cleaning his backyard, whe live just a few meters from railroad tracks and some apparently tossed 2 good computers aside, I'm running 98se and xp on this.

Specs:

Optiplex gx260

Intel pentium 4 with integrated graphics

512 gb ram

32 gb storage

Sound card

Working cd player( replaced for a dvd player)

Working floppy drive

I'm working on putting games and stuff so I haven't put to much effort on cleaning it from the outside (on the inside was almost impeccable but I replaced the thermal paste and cleaned it a little bit)

And also, if someone is more knowledgeable, what videos card should I use, as I said Im running a dual boot ok it with 98se and windows XP, if there's no good option I'm happy with only using the 98se part

I'm new to home servers and tried for a long time, finally it's working, it's more for a test than anything because I'm using an old 2005 Olidata PC, and so far it looks like it would work

So I'm repairing an old PC, mainly to use as a storage device, the thing is that this darn thing don't let me go to the bio, the only things that appear are the windows boot options, and a thing called grub4dos 0.4.4 Wich I don't understand, the PC is an old Olidata, the operating system is windows 7 ultimate, is there a way to enter the bios?

So, I rescued some old PCs, one will be turn into a nas, and other I'm planning to use for old pc games, that the dell Optiplex gx260, looking online I find that it support max 2gb ram, but the doubt I have is of it will support a 2gb ram stick or if the ram is 2gb per slot, I want to buy it more ram because it only have 1 gb ram and as I said I want it for old games.
