Pulling the trigger on an LG UltraFine 40U990A-W, need a quick sanity check

Good afternoon good people of the UWMR,
I need a quick sanity check before ordering the 40U990A-W, in case that I missed something important or missed a better option.

I am using the monitor for 75% work and 25% gaming. The work part is video editing, photo editing and 3D animation - I was impressed with what the monitor promises in the department of color accuracy and so on, and the reviews seem to confirm the promises.
The gaming part is not so important but it is mostly non-competitive shooters, adventure/RPG and strategy games. Running it off an 5070 ti and a 5800x - should be okay with FSR, turning stuff down if needed and similar, right?

I was also thinking about the Dell U4025QW, but the monitor is quite a bit pricier here (Germany) and it seems to me that it is almost the same - am I right there or is there a difference?

Also, coming from a three monitor setup and a much lower PPI, it will take some time to adjust, that I know, but is there anything I might have missed? "Forest from the trees" style? Need a quick sanity check... Thanks in advance!
