Lenovo Legion 5i 9th gen 4060

Hey All,

I hope everyone is going well.

I have done some research through a thread on here for battery optimisation - https://www.reddit.com/r/LenovoLegion/comments/1nqwry0/my_legion_battery_optimisation_guide/

However, I am now trying to do the opposite for whilst plugged in.

I do not use my laptop for gaming, ever.

I solely use my laptop for working which often included a ridiculous amount of tabs open at once and around 6-7 desktops, with multiple applications and tabs.

I also do some work on ComfyUI for seperate things, 5-10% of the time.

I am mostly trying to optimise the speed my laptop has when running so much at once, not wanting to minimise and close things, as I believe with the money spent on the laptop is should be able to do this with absolute ease.

Currently, all settings are pretty normal - Hybdrid, Balance mode, window power settings to best performance when plugged in, laptop at 160hz and monitor at 180hz. Then a few opposite changes under control panel as mentioned in this thread for when it is plugged in.

Is there anything else I can be doing, should I be running it in performance mode (red) for best performance of multi tasking, or does this deteriorate aspects of the laptop quicker ?

Any further tips or tricks would be appreciated.

Automatic campaigns x2 (no spend after 3 days and low impressions)

Hey All,

I have recently spoken to an Amazon Ads Expert Agency, they were quite helpful in providing some advice to someone who is not experienced with Amazon Selling or Advertising.

They suggested I set up Automatic Campaigns for discovery, alongside my 2 manual campaigns which target proven exact winners.

So I set up an Automatic Campaign for each of my 2 ASINS, which are child variations for flavour, they have a daily budget of $15 each.

I started both with 70 cents for all 4 targeting groups and 10% TOS, 15% ROS, 10%PP.

I thought the bid of 70 cents was too conservative, especially for a supplement product, so I have made these changes to both auto campaigns:

- Close match $1.05 / Complements $0.80 / Loose Match $0.65 / Substitutes $0.90

MY ISSUE:

- They have been running 4th, 5th, 6th of April.

- Combined impressions: 25 close match, 5 loose match, 9 substitutes

They have spent $0 each, with almost no impressions and both have a $15 daily budget.

It seems as if they are not running, getting impressions or spending.

What could be the result of this, do I need to wait longer than the 48-72 hours I have waited, or do I simply need to increase the x4 targeting group bids quite significantly to get them going ?

Bid Strategies and Bid Adjustments

Hey all,

I have been trying to figure this out myself using Amazon help pages, Google and AI, still have not managed to do so, so reaching out here.

I understand what bidding strategies are, dynamic bids up and down, dynamic bids down only, fixed bids.

What I am struggling to understand is how bidding strategies change bidding adjustments.

For example: lets use a key word / default bid of $2, running 30% TOS, 0% ROS, 50% PP.

How does this actually affect the different bidding strategies ?

I use dynamic bidding down only.

What I have read - $2 with 30% TOS will go to $2.60, then if Amazon thinks it wont convert, it can reduce by whatever percentage ? This seems nonsense and would love if someone could explain how the bidding strategies interrelate with bid adjustements.
