Budget gaming pc for competitive titles.

  • New build or upgrade? New build
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) Existing setup currently is on ps5, with mouse and keyboard.
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) Main purpose is gaming, but also for studying.
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? (If you're not in a country supported by PCPartPicker, please list some local vendors) Middle east, not near a microcenter. Use pcpartpicker, and amazon most of the time.
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) I already know what monitors I need.
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations) Currently I have 500 USD, but if it's not enough I'm willing to add more.
  • WiFi or wired connection? Both, but most of the time ethernet.
  • Size/noise constraints? No noise or size constraints.
  • Color/lighting preferences? Preferably an all white clean build, but due to the budget any build is okay.
  • Any other specific needs? It's for competitive titles like fortnite, valorant, and other games. Mostly cpu dependent, no gpu heavy games, I would like to get 240 fps in fortnite performance mode, the more the better of course. However, I am unsure what is the minimum required amount for a decent build. I put 500 USD as the base, but I would like to get suggestions for a decent build that can last a few years.

Is it possible to build a decent gaming pc for competitive gaming under 400 USD?

As of my understanding all the games I play are cpu intensive... I currently play on ps5 but only on 60 fps since my tv does not support 120 hz. I have wanted to get into pcs foe a while now and I'm wondering if 400 USD is enough. I understand the current gpu ram and ssd crisis. However I live in the middle east currently and the used market is terrible. Any auggestions are appreciated.
