Did anyone else find Arthur and Charlotte’s final encounter more emotional than Mary’s?

Arthur spent the final part of his life trying to repair the damage he’d caused, making peace with people he hurt, holding the gang together as it collapsed & helping the innocent escape before everything fell apart. But in many ways those actions came from guilt and a sense of responsibility.

What makes his encounter with Charlotte different is that he gained nothing from it. He owed her nothing and she had no idea who he truly was. She was vulnerable & had every reason to fear him yet he chose compassion. It’s one of the few instances where Arthur is at his purest, acting selflessly without redemption in mind. I don’t know why but their final encounter really made me emotional more than any other encounter in the game even Mary’s. It felt bittersweet saying goodbye.

Can I post same reel twice one as a trial reel and the other publicly or will it affect engagement?

I wanted to post something experimental on my page it’s an edit I’ve made and so far every time I’ve used trial reels for some reason it never gets any traction yet when I post the same video publicly it performs far better and some occasions goes viral. But this particular edit I’ve worked really hard on so in case it doesn’t perform well publicly I was wondering if it’s worth also posting as a trial reel or will this tank engagement?

If a TikTok watermark is visible for few seconds on Instagram reel will it affect engagement?

So I want to post a video on Instagram it’s like a stylised aesthetic edit, the first 5 seconds contains a clip from TikTok the watermark is visible but the video itself has so many filters and special effects, will this affect engagement? The watermark is only visible for 5 seconds

I’ve just noticed Dutch's tent gets further and further away from the centre and from anyone else as the story progresses

I’m on Chapter 6 in another playthrough and it feels so much bleaker this time. I keep noticing small details I missed before, especially how camp positioning changes over time. The camp no longer feels like a home. Dutch’s tent is often closed off now and when he is outside he only interacts with Micah. His tent feels less central than it used to, almost like the symbolic centre of the group has shifted away from him as he becomes more removed from everyone else.

I’ve also started noticing all the character interactions happening in the background. it feels like they shape the overall mood of the story in ways I completely missed before. It’s surreal how much was always there in previous playthroughs without me realising. Rockstar never fail to amaze me.

The camp party in Chapter 4 after Jack’s rescue is incredible writing

The camp party after rescuing Jack really stands out to me. I think it’s because it feels like it’s setting you up for something you only realise later. It’s been so many years since I played this part of the game & I didn’t pick up on so many things that happened during that night so many different character dialogues and interactions, from John and Abigail to Dutch and Molly. It’s also such a huge contrast to the Chapter 2 camp party after Sean’s rescue.

At the time, it just comes across as this moment of relief. The tension of everything leading up to Jack’s rescue drops away, It’s one of the few times the gang feels genuinely normal. But in hindsight it almost feels like the game is letting you experience what the gang used to be one last time before everything starts falling apart. There’s also a lot of foreshadowing throughout the night, and when Dutch starts his speech as the thunderstorm rolls in, hearing his words mixed with the sound of thunder makes the whole scene feel even heavier. After that point things never really return to that same level of ease, so that party ends up feeling like a turning point.

That’s what makes it hit for me it’s simple on the surface but the writing makes it feel heavy. Just exceptional storytelling all round.

All I see on this sub are RDR3 ideas pitching either a Dutch prequel or a Jack sequel ( I don’t even want to explain why this idea sucks) and honestly both ideas miss the point. Dutch is one of the most multilayered and compelling characters in fiction not just gaming, precisely because of the mystery around him. Even in RDR2 it’s the small details him never sleeping, those subtle slips where his true nature shows that make him so fascinating. He’s a master of performance constantly curating this image of himself as a visionary He weaponizes ideals like freedom and loyalty, turning them into tools to control people.

As things start to fall apart, his paranoia grows and instead of changing, he doubles down to protect his ego. Despite claiming to hate control and civilization, he builds his own version of both around himself
Dutch works because he’s unknowable and self-revealing not explainable. Explaining what made him that way would only take away from it.

Every time I visit Wapiti Reservation it genuinely slows me down. The fact that you can’t use weapons or even fire a weapon in the direction of the reservation is just beautiful choice. The entire game is about violence being almost like second nature so it feels like a deliberate boundary set by rockstar that this space deserves deep respect.

Also what really stands out is the way the Native characters are written and voiced. There’s a calmness and a sense of identity in how they speak that avoids the usual stereotypes you see. Feels like Rockstar actually took time to portray a culture rather than reduce it to a trope. It all ties back to the game’s deeper themes loss, displacement and everything Native communities lost as the world expanded around them.

I'm 5 months deep with these weird symptoms. Since getting covid I’ve not been the same. I deal with so many random unexplainable symptoms random pain all over my body but the worst has been my stomach issues I’ve dealt with IBS in the past but it’s a lot worse and unpredictable now I’m constantly having issues whether it’s diarrhoea or constipation, I’ve just been to the toilet right now and noticed the toilet water is red/ orange color (not dark red) which has never happened to me before, the stool looked normal, I felt no pain… has anyone else dealt with this? I’m going to schedule a doc appointment in the morning
