apply for VCD this fall i wanna know is it hard i dont really have any prior design knowledge but i know a thing or two like how softwares work and i can draw just fine

i wanna apply for design related degrees specifically visual communication design i need help regarding which university i should go to i heard abt BNU and NCA but i heard waha ka mahol sahi nahi. my preference city is islamabad but i just need alot of options so it could help me decide where i should apply and if anyone can guide me on how i can prepare too, will be very helpful
