Weight gain ?

Hi I’ve always been very thin and ate a lot. I’m 5’4” and was 117 lbs at the end of my pregnancy, started at 100lbs. After my pregnancy (2007) I remained 110lbs with rate fluctuations of 1-2 lbs. In 2023 when I got on Lamictal I was 110. Today I’m 124 lbs and not doing anything new except probably…aging (I’m 48) I took a Lamictal break last year and my weight did go down to about 117lbs. I’m not eating more or less. Has anyone gained weight on this drug? Thank you and advance and please no opinions on my past or current weight 🙏🏻 I am on Lamictal for MDD/possibly Bipolar 2 and do not have an eating disorder.

I'm 48

been having TE for years, lasted 3-5 months after which I always recovered, maybe lost 10-20 hairs throughout the day and when I washed it
used liquid 5% minoxidil for years without much break and it was very effective seemed to have helped recovery from TE
new TE started in October 2024 and never stopped -I loose 500+ hairs a day now (counted)
August 2025 went to MD and dent -they put me on 5mg Finasteride, 2.5 minoxidil that did NOTHING to stop the TE
Derm told me to stop topical minoxidil since I had been struggling with enormous wet flakes for years and said the pill will work as well
taking multiple vitamins, sometimes viviscal
restarted 5% minoxidil foam and no flakes, seeing minimal regrowth but so minimal that I'm thinking it just may be a thickening effect due to residue
I have MD appointment next week will check thyroid levels and ferritin Here some images before the hair loss and after I feel down about this and always worry when I have to meet friends for dinner etc because how do I style the front
so far l'm not too open to wigs
I do have more hair on the back and thinking of going to Turkey for a transplant but my hair loss is diffused
TE ongoing the same since October 2024. 500+ hairs a day
no more bangs for me, don't have any left

no bangs left now
images w hair in sink and bathroom tiles are from yesterday and lost more when I blow dried which I never had to do because already had so much volume
