Thinking Of Changing Legion Go 2 to the Claw 8 Ai Plus?
Hi, last year I sold my Claw 8 Ai Plus I had, I had issues with it as a lot of my games were stuttering on it, micro stutters I could see. I bought it second hand though. Anyway it frustrated me so I sold it and I bought the Z2 Extreme Legion Go 2 which I received in January this year?
But.. with the Claw I liked it's size, it's shape, wasn't too big for me, it was heavy but I could manage it, I could lie in bed and use it for example. With the Go 2 I have found that somewhat... difficult.. it is large feeling, bulky and damn heavy lol. Yes it has a stunning screen, but you pay for that in bulk feeling in your hand.
So I have found myself wighting up my options, I even have been thinking maybe I should just go back to getting a Steam Deck OLED even, although I had to leave that platform as my hands got RSI from using it.. I will also say the Claw is quieter then the Go 2 and has better build quality feeling. But I have not really had any game stutters with the Go 2, all the games I've tried have worked fine.
Here's the thing though... I played through and completed DOOM The Dark Ages with the Claw when I had it, and tried many others, with the Go 2 I haven't played through a single game on it, tried a few now and then but I have been using my PS5 more. Plus who knows what support Lenovo will give it, although Steam is officially coming out for it, I used to think that was all important having used Windows on these devices and Steam OS, but now I have just got used to Windows? I thought Steam was the solution to playing games smoothly with no stuttering. And the full screen mode does help too. Plus of course the Claw has excellent support from Intel.
So how is the Claw 8 Ai Plus now? Do people still have games stutter on it? How Does XESS 3 run on it? Are MSI about to launch a new one do we know? Would I be mad to change the Go 2 for a Claw 8 Ai?
What do you guy's think?
