Just found out after looking at my credit card statement (business customer) that an expired credit card can still be charged.

The credit card in question expired 03/24. But I was charged by Bluehost on March 16th, 2026 and the transaction went through. To top it off, I found out that I was charged on March 16th, 2025 as well and I didn't realize it. So 2026 is on me, I'll own that.

But for those of you who have just left expired cards thinking they won't be cancelled, watch out!
