B.tan clear gel removal

Okay so I normally use b.tan “I want the darkest tan possible” mousse, 2 coats overnight and it’s my perfect shade and cooler toned. So I picked up b.tan clear gel, a shade lighter to try. Oh. My. God. It says no gloves required, wash hands, no rinse needed. This is the most patchy, orange, worst tan I’ve had. I went straight to bed and it wrecked my shit. I’ve tried everything to remove it. I exfoliated a ton, then used lemon juice & baking soda. Then I dry brushed, took a bath and used an exfoliating mitt and sugar scrub. Then I used rubbing alcohol, and hair remover after (veet). I think it’s faded the most it could be. I found an ulta 30min away finally with tan remover, but is it even worth purchasing after nothing else removed it? Also, should I just use my normal tanner over it at this point to blend it?
