For example, undergoing TKR when the patient could recover from physiotherapy?
Ofcourse a broken bone is a broken bone, and surgery is the only option to fix it.
But doctors in my country have quite a bad rep and I've constantly heard this from a family friend of mine who was a physiotherapist.
He used to tell me how alot of the elderly was given an unnecessary TKR, and would have probably been better by going to physiotherapy
I want to know if his opinion is unheard of or not
