For example, undergoing TKR when the patient could recover from physiotherapy?

Ofcourse a broken bone is a broken bone, and surgery is the only option to fix it.

But doctors in my country have quite a bad rep and I've constantly heard this from a family friend of mine who was a physiotherapist.

He used to tell me how alot of the elderly was given an unnecessary TKR, and would have probably been better by going to physiotherapy

I want to know if his opinion is unheard of or not

I saw this on google years ago and i really want to replicate it with the paint and also the wires.

it seems like a great addition, as ive seen once on youtube that a guy ripped off the cable off the PCB when they were working out on a treadmill, so having a detachable cable seems like a great safety feature for the headphone.

I havent been able to find any youtube video on wiring and nor do i know where to buy any of these things.

I can definitely solder effectively however.

if you guys have any yt vids i would be delighted.

also i live outside of the US if that matters

Hello everyone! i need help with choosing a car for my family.

we used to own an mg c350, and getting repairs took a while but the engine never had any issues, seats were amazing, occasionally the ac broke, but once we got that replaced it worked just fine.

i only care about:

  1. preferably sedan
  2. seat quality (faux leather)
  3. under ~50k AED
  4. engine reliability

If you guys have any suggestions for 40-50K AED please let me know, its really hard to shop for cars.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

ASSALAMALLAIKUM

I got the 13.3" version of this exact laptop, i like it. the 16" was for 600 dollars while the 13.3 was for 800. to me form factor was everything so i spent 800 dollars on it.

PORTS/IO:

SD: the micro SD card is amazing to transfer pdfs and files from my huawei pad pro to my laptop, its so convenient.

2 USB type A charging ports: one is super speed and is always on to act like a powerbank, and the other one is regular.

2 USB type C charging ports: very convenient asw since i can charge my tab, phone and laptop with the same charger.

Note: my 83J2001BAX does NOT have a barrel charging, only uses type c for charging and or file transfer

HDMI: has regular sized HDMI.

headphone jack- yes it has one

speakers: honestly not studio grade but plenty enough for video calls. but i use headphones so this literally never affects

NOTE: They have Dolby Audio too

Camera: works great for video calls, theres an IR sensor for face recognition and presence detection.

keyboard: works great, nice feel, IS BACKLIT.

HARDWARE:

CPU: : the AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor (while old) still holds up really well due to the amount of cores it has, often better than the new ryzen ai 5 cpus in certain tasks. However it's single core is worse and so is it's energy efficiency compared to new cpus.

iGPU: 680M graphics, can run most games, but is worse than the new 880M found in the new ryzen ai cpus. if graphics matters def pick the new ryzen AI CPU.

RAM: 16GB SOLDERED ddr5 enough for me.

SCREEN: its an IPS WUXGA LCD display (idk what wuxga is but i do know ips and lcd so i bought it), it has 100% sRGB too. 500 nits brightness, anti-glare (matte) finish. great for indoors, havent tried outside.

STORAGE: 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD (PCIe 4.0)

battery: lasts for around 4-5 hours, ~54 mwh, battery is crap due to the HS processor. does the job for me but prob wont for you guys.

BUILD QUALITY IS AMAZING. full aluminium chassis with no give at all. feels cold to touch. very premium. no flex. like an ipad. It does have a fan thats quiet. when you open the lid, the base doesnt lift up like a cheap one. The bezel seems weird online but in real life you dont notice it at all, it helps to open it with on finger.

WEIGHT: 1.14 kg, 14.3 mm thick.

IMO: if you wanted a macbook feel but wanted to play windows games, this laptops great for you then. However, battery life is absolutely not that great, but that is expected when you get an HS processor.

ISSUES:

I have also heard about many Ideapads overheating when in use. I have not done any heavy gaming on this laptop yet, when i was updating or reseting my laptop the top left corner would get quite hot, but i think that is mostly due to the aluminium chassis conducting heat better.
