Communication anxiety is affecting my confidence and career growth

29M, working in corporate, and honestly struggling a lot with communicating in English.

I can understand most things, but when it’s my turn to speak in meetings or with colleagues, I freeze. I keep overthinking my grammar, pronunciation, and whether people are judging me. Because of that, I avoid speaking unless absolutely necessary.

The fear and anxiety around this are starting to affect my confidence and career growth. Some days I feel exhausted just thinking about conversations at work. I’ve also struggled in interviews because I couldn’t express my thoughts confidently, even when I knew the answers well.

I watch more English movies and series to improve. I can understand most of the conversations, but when it comes to speaking confidently in real-life situations, I still struggle a lot.

Has anyone here gone through something similar and improved later? What actually helped you become more comfortable speaking English in a corporate environment?
