ChildCareCareers = Shady Agency Stay Away
Ladies, Gentlmen, LGBTQ Members and students studying ECE this is a message for yall located in the cities of Ohio · Florida · Pennsylvania · California · Seattle, WA · Georgia · Arizona · New Jersey · Texas · Illinois and its only these states because Child Care Careers is only located in these states of the USA.
First off I want to address that I ain't a recuriter of Child Care Careers but as a former employee.
Anyway let me explain my journey with Child Care Careers aka https://www.childcarecareers.com/ below along with tips if some of yall still really want to join CCC to see the proof for yall selfs.
CCC has 3 positions available
- Teacher's Aide = High School Diploma required
- Teacher's Assisant= Associate Degree or 4 year Degree
- Lead Teacher = Same requirements as Teacher's Assisant
Additional Requirements
- No criminal record
- Driver License or State ID
- Drug Test is not required
- TB Health Test ( CCC will give you this to have your doctor fill out)
- 3 Letter Refferences
Supplies for the job & why you need these items
- A watch. Not a smart watch because that's consider being on your phone during the job. Tip: Go to Walmart and buy a watch then go to local watch battery replacement shop to get the current watch battery replace.
- A Backpack that is not see through because see through is never good. Also the reason it helps not hold the thin red tote bag that CCC will give you. Tip: Again go to Walmart or some discount store for one.
- A plastic file folder holder- the reason because CCC will just give you a paper file folder and paper is easily damage . Tip go to Dollar Tree or Walmart for this item.
Interview Process
- Call 877) 222-6070 = Just follow guide to get in contact with a recuriter and then the recuriter will guide you to apply.
Anyway onto my journey with CCC.
My journey with CCC I will keep it short by saying I found out by CCC by using Indeed.com at the time then I apply. And I applied due I have interested in the ECE field.
Reasons to stay away in no particular order
- Tons of violations and complaints behind the scenes according to local Department of Human services. Some of these do include child abuse from the current staff of these centers.
- High Crime neighborhoods in the city and outside the city of these centers. Tip for the bus friends : Make sure to buy pepper spray or so.
- CCC information is not much know about them besides only the negative reviews are more helpful then the oppsite which I learned later on.
- CCC salary is not liveable even though its a little higher then these centers you're going to.
- Travel is required and the default you have to go is 10 miles. Don't expect gas money as coverage unless its over 10 miles and the $ is not either for gas money.
- Lunch is not paid and sometimes lunch time is non existant
- No benefits of anything
- Flexiablity is a lie because even when let say it's your workday you will get nothing.
- Coordiantors aka the ones giving you assignment are not located in your city so don't be upset when you going to a strange place.
- Recuriters does not care about you instead they will tell you talk to the placement coordiantors if there is issue.
- Calling placement coorindators is frustation because it's only like1 person answering the phone even though automatic robot say you're first in line.
- Last minute canclled assignments do happen and this can have CCC find a new center you're going to the same day or you will not have a job the same day.
- CCC pay department is only reachable by email if there is a pay problem,
- Most Main staff at these centers don't care for the ECE field. Only maybe like 1 or 2 if lucky.
- Assignments are giving to you by TEXT only then calls.
- Calls from CCC only happens if there is a problem with you from these centers.
- Assignments are by a point system and assignments are only worth 1 to 2 points and up to 100 points = nothing happens.
- Assignments are sometimes first come first serve depending on so how " popular the location is. "
- All trainings are required self paid and CCC will not be reimburst for them.
- The main staff at these centers do complain over little things.
- CCC doesn't take your side of the story when there is a problem instead CCC sides with the school.
- There are CCTV at some of these centers but it useless.
- Conditions of these centers- Some of these exterior of these centers looks questionable and that goes for the interior.
- Meals at these places- The children ain't really getting a 5 star meal and some will require bring from home.
- Car parking- don't expect all these centers have a staff parking some will require street parking. Tip- Street parking park some where feels safe then take a picture of the street name using your phone.
- Loosing points- It happens just don't loose to much or you will be in question.
- Hands on Training does not exist on this job instead its only certificates.
As for the children most of these children you will be with are just infants up to toddlers and pre school. The school age these are like rare you can say .
