The difference in the portraits is probably due to a mix of laziness, not having a nice place for portraits and not having built the world out enough to cover weddings etc so it was a make it up as I went for the first one.
Portrait 1, Crown Prince Auren & Lady Cassandra Tathdel, 315. (Ages 15 & 16).
Portraits 2/3, Crown Prince Auren & Lady Maevra Mcarthurs, 325. (Ages 25 & 21).
He was married to them both, simultaneously, it’s permitted in this world.
Her husband, the crown prince, died during a sweating sickness outbreak along with his other wife. Maevra and Auren were basically soulmates and deeply in love with one another and it’s quite devastating that they only had five years together, 325-330.
They have two living sons and she’s pregnant currently (twin boys). Auren also has three daughters with his first wife Cassandra but she actually unofficially lost her rights to them after she poisoned Maevra and cause her to loose her first pregnancy. Cassandra was put on house arrest and not permitted to see her children as punishment and Maevra stepped in as their mother figure. An actual improvement by the way.
They were celebrating another pregnancy and then there was a sweating sickness outbreak which he died from … (they were only married for like 5 years)
