New security procedures for customerd
I was in my local Truist Bank the day before Easter. I was informed by the teller that starting the following Monday every time a customer comes in for a transaction they will ask for your drivers license and make a copy of it. I feel this is a ridiculous policy. I can understand if the teller doesn't know you but most of the tellers at my branch know me by name. This totally destroys Truist as a community bank if they treat long time customers as strangers. I told the teller who informed me of the new policy that Truist has gotten too big and is no longer a local bank if every customer has to provide ID. The only problem is our other alternative in town is Wells Fargo which is a story in itself.
