How much time is fresher rubber worth to you?

There was an overwhelming consensus on my rear grip post that I needed some fresh rubber, well here it is, but how much will it actually help? How much did it help you?

Same size/compound and alignment specs as the posted lap (3rd pic), just newer date stamp and clearly a lot fresher.

PB is currently 1:35.02 and was set in round 2 of last season, which is what's next so hopefully weather is similar.

Circuit is Winton Motor Raceway, 3km long.

I hear really mixed things about this so place your bets 👇

Look familiar boys? 😅

Don't let anyone tell you the old family wagon isn't a suitable tow car/race car support vehicle!

I'm sure this is nothing to some of you, show me your impressive efforts 😅

Once these come back it'll be straight into alignment.

Track Car Number Plate

This week on *insert Bilbo meme* "Why shouldn't I make dumb stuff with my printer?"

We've got a novelty number plate, because I got tired of looking at the empty space 😅

The plate is 275x120mm, with Aus bolt hole spacing of 210mm apart & M6, and made in such a way as to allow easy font/colour changes to suit whatever you wanna do - do read the description

Enjoy 🤝

Wireless Charger Light Cover 😅

Certainly one of my more niche designs 😅

Got sick of seeing the light at night, sorted with this snap for bezel 👌

Link to charger used is included, it was 99mm dia and needed a little cutout for the cable, scale as needed.

Charger works without issue, as tested on S26 wih Spigen Liquid Air Case.

Prints in under 20mins, hardly any filament.

Enjoy 🤝

Had an awesome time over at one of my local tracks yesterday for the Victorian 86/BRZ Club 'Come and Try' event. I didn't manage to get my 86 ready in time, but I wanted to be there anyway, not just to support grassroots motorsport, but to do a little coaching on a track I'm familiar with 🤝

It was a smaller group (under 30 cars I think?) and perfect for the large number of beginners with a ton of track time and clear air ✅

Hiding amongst the sea of 86/BRZs was a few other interesting gems including a GR Yaris (Wow, those brakes!), a BMW 130 with almost 500ks on the odo still running the original engine (and box?), A very rad FC with 280 slicks and a far more linear torque curve than I expected, and of course that V8 swapped 86 I posted the clip of yesterday 😍

I hopped in a few cars throughout the day and offered some guidance where I could, it was great to see times falling as a result. I made great use of the Dragy Pro GPS sensor, that thing is so easy to just slap in anyone's car, fire up the app (or Race Chrono) and go 🏎️

All in all, it was a great day out and I even got to throw the Crown around for a sighting lap, with one of the Marshalls, at the start of the day. Boy do you feel all 1900kg when you try to pull it up and turn her in lol A track car she most definitely is not 🚢

Enjoy the pics and if you're thinking of trying a track day, get out there and go for it 🤝

Hi guys,

As I drive an S220 Crown (with the same 8GR-FXS/L310 V6 Hybrid Drivetrain as LS500h) you might find this service guide and overview helpful.

Guide covers, with time stamps;

Air Filter
Cabin Filter
Hybrid Battery Filter
Brakes/Suspension Overview
Under Car Overview
Oil Drain
Diff Drain & Refill
Oil Filter Drain/Replace
Trans Drain & Refill

If you check the description, you will also see links to the NCR website with fluid capacities, service interval info and copies of TechSteam (new and old) to help you keep your LS500h on the road :)

A like/sub on the vid doesn't hurt and there's a Kofi link on the site too.

Enjoy and I hope this helps some 🤝
