My son is a 15-year old baseball umpire. Received a 2025 1099-NEC for $840. Freetaxusa isn't very intuitive. We entered it as business income, and it seems like this is taking us very deeply into deductions and other things that don't match his situation. Should we continue this process at home or seek professional help? I don't want to screw this up for him. I've done my own taxes for years with no issue. Just stumped here...
