PC won't boot with two sticks of ram (BOTH RAM STICKS ARE GOOD)
Hello! Before I get started here is my full pc specs.
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700x 8-Core Processor
Motherboard: MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC
BIOS Version (info from BIOS): E7A40AMS.AH5
RAM: DDR4-3000 Ripjaws V 16GBx2
I am trying to put both ram sticks inside in order to get 32GB since I noticed that my gaming performance is pretty low when I know it can do better. However, for some reason my motherboard hates the 2nd slot (right slot, further from the cpu). I know that its not my ram sticks because both of them work in the left slot (left side, closest to cpu). I even tried putting one on the right side and I get a CPU white light indicator on my motherboard. Is it my CPU that is possibly the issue or is it a faulty slot in my motherboard? Could it also be that I am stupid and I need to update my BIOS?
Help very much appreciated, thank you!
