I have been coding on Scratch for 10 years. I started in 4th grade, coding with the rest of my class. I loved Scratch so much, that I kept coding outside of class.
As the years went on, I kept coding on my account, and even switched the email to my own personal email. I ended up sharing over 300 projects, had over 700 unshared projects, and have been actively working on ~10 WIP projects. That is, until this week.

For the past month I have been seeing a warning that my account could be closed because it is "a student account". This confused me, as I had changed my account to be a personal email. I emailed support, and they told me that the deletion of my account was "up to my teacher". Keep in mind my teacher has since retired, and no longer uses Scratch. So I figured I'd probably be safe, because my teacher wouldn't randomly log onto Scratch to delete my account.

However, I opened Scratch earlier today, and now I cannot log in. I honestly don't know what to do. All of my projects are now in limbo. The Scratch Team said to open a new account, but I just don't see the point.
