What car accessories came in handy and you were glad to have, and which got in the way or weren't worth it?
I recently financed a 2024 toyota corolla, my first newer car, and I want to take the best care of it while I have it (and also be prepared).
Car wash subscription costs me 40$ mo for 15 washes.
Im currently shopping seat covers (water proof/UV/Wear resistent) and all weather floor matts (for wintertime)
Those alone are running me $250
Ive got 3 viofo dashcams hardwired in, +$800
With that, Im starting to go overboard and am having a hard time deciding what I want and what Id actually use or would be handy to have.
On my list of smaller things I have;
a steering wheel cover.
a center consol cover w/tissue box.
A garbage can with a lid.
Battery operated mini vacuum and air compressor.
Ridged cupholder coasters.
Optional list:
Rearview sun catcher. (Because nostalgia)
License plate frame (slim, black, stainless steel, rattle free)
Sticky icky car slime and shammies, for dusting.
Im considering a hanging trunk organizer because I want to keep things like spare fuses, screwdriver/flatheads, jumper cables, flashlights, blankets, etc in my car just in case.
There are seat organizers with collapsible tables that Im debating on, but Im also like 'would I even use a tv tray in my backseat?'
So, what accessories do you love driving with and which ones did it take you having before you relized they weren't as useful as you thought they'd be.
