I really like setain but I hate making it myself and I'm trying to adhere to the American heart association's recommendation of only up to 1,500mgs of salt a day (I've gotten as low as 848mgs and it felt fantastic but then the salt cravings started and it was BAD. Never got salt cravings before in my life)
Anyways, the setain sold in grocery stores near me is all flavored and the sodium content is like 18 bazillion percent higher than the DRV.
So I looked and there's a few options for bulk setain but it's all around 100 bucks and I don't want to waste 100 dollars on sub par setain that I won't eat
Hello 👋
I just bought two packages of tempeh because it was on sale and I'd figured I give it a go.
I cut one package up, put it in a bowl with oil and spices and then threw it in the air fryer until it was crispy
That was a massive mistake. It came out dry and tastless.
So I looked online how to cook it and these recipes are saying you've got to boil it to get rid of the bitterness (I didn't think it was bitter) and then marinate it for hours.
Is there a quicker way to get it to be less dry and tastless?
