My Adventures in Shifting
I have been shifting since I was a kid, I only recently found a universe where other people are talking about it! Finally!
I'll share some of my methods here, some people are naturally incline to shifting, so you don't have to try very hard. for others it takes a lot of practice. Some of these are very similar to other methods people have already mentioned out there on the interweb.
I'd recommend looking into keeping yourself grounded in your current reality before trying to shift immediately, just in case you accidentally shift into a not so desired reality. You always want to find your way back you your current vessel. Once you find your DR and make a permanent shift, that's a whole other thing, but you don't want a "sliders" situation do you? DO YOU?
Before you Try - read this -
Either the universe live in can change and shape, or you will shift into the universe you want.
If you travel into the universe be sure to leave a tether to get back to your body to find your way back home.
The universe you focus on may not be the universe you want, be careful what you wish for rules apply.
If the brain and memories of the creator of the universe doesn't exist the universe may collapse, or change unpredictably.
Physics varies from universe to universe.
Not all universe connect to one another. sometimes universe are connected through others
Caution when using these techniques after reading a good book or watching a good movie or TV show.

Use neural reprogramming to rewire your brain to react/think in a more positive way automatically. (gaslight yourself into being an optimist!)
Be kind to yourself.
You are not bound to time, past present or future.
The Right Affirmation is key. The Right Key opens the Right Door.
Gratitude is important.
Emotions are just emotions, none are positive or negative. Try to focus on that. Perspective is different to each person.
Reminder- When shifting, you are not the creator you may be but if you are NOT you are only a visitor in this reality.
You have to abide by their rules, physical and sociological.
"Law of Assumption" thoughts creating reality doesn't work for everyone.
Neville Goddard perspective is mostly right, "everyone is you pushed out" but not everyone is a conscious projecting mind. Some people are NPC's or just don't have the ability to project outwardly wide enough for others to become part of there reality. And some realities aren't connected to enough other universes and realities to stay for very long.
Sometimes the mind we exit in is no longer available, so we naturally shift into another reality. When this happens in large scale amount it ties in with the mandela effect.
Gradual shifting is probably the best way to find your true DR
But if you just want to shift to experience to world temporarily these "meditation" focus is the best method.
Keeping grounded to your body is only important if you plan on returning to your Current reality.
Every reality is the desired reality for someone. You just need to find yours.
Example:
There are a lot of Star Trek or Star War universes out there, including the cartoons, cross overs, parodies and fan fictions people have created. You could end up traveling to someone's fan fiction that is written really well, but it's highly unlikely you will end up in the one that exists inside the mind of the creator of Star Wars themselves. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.
3 weeks to Manifesting your Desired Reality (DR)
Don't be discouraged if it takes you longer than a week to learn each skill, everyone learns at their own pace.
Some stages might be hard
Please preform the stages in order for best results!
Week one: meditation and focus
All week spend 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each day in a focused meditative stake listening to your favourite music/sounds/ambient noise.
Try to focus on nothing in particular, in this state you will learn to identify the difference between your physical an spiritual self.
Focus on your breathing. You can use an item in your hand to keep your grounded or as a fidget item if you can't still your body for that long each day. you are learning to quiet your mind more than stilling your body.
Matarial items to help keep you grounded:
-String
-Blanket
-Toy
-Object with focused energy
-Special item to you
-could be anything potentially.
String example:
While you are focusing on your meditation hold a string and make notes with it, you can knit or crochet if you'd like as well. keep your hands busy doing something in your current reality to help focus your mind on your DR.
Anytime you feel overwhelmed in your DR, draw yourself back to your CR by focusing on the string or material in your hand or on your body.
Week Two: Lucid Dreams and astral projection
Now that you know the difference between your physical and spiritual self you should be able to try lucid dreaming and astral projection.
using the bird method is best for astral projection, working mostly with known maps and locations around you. You can also test this method with a friend by planning to see what they are doing while you astral project. BE SURE TO LET THEM KNOW BEFORE HAND SO YOU DON'T CATCH THEM IN A COMPROMISING POSITION.
Here are some methods you can use to hone your astral projection and lucid dream senses:
Bird method:
Picture yourself as a bird sitting on your front lawn. Once you can imagine your bird self, fly up up into the clouds as high as you can go. Look down at your house from the birds eye view. Get to knew your surroundings this way, it will help for your astral projection.
The more you learn to do this, the more you can explore in the clouds, fly around and feel your spiritual self.
Break the ceiling exercises:
focus your energy, feel the glow within you as it expands outward.
picture the ceiling of the room you are in breaking open so that you can see the sky above you. let the glow of the sun into your soul. feel the light of the universe within you.
Focus on your DR and recite your affirmation.
End the meditation by closing off the ceiling again and picture yourself sitting comfortably.
Focus and intention are very important when using any of these methods.
Sensations your feel while manifesting into your DR
Week Three: Time is a human construct
Now that you can focus your spiritual energy and project your self focus on the universe you want to create for yourself.
If you know of a DR that you want to live in, use the flying method to get your way there.
Flying method:
Close your eyes and picture a vast map below you. You are so high up each reality looks like a small twinkling star. These are all the different realities you can travel to. Fly down close, around, or though some. they look like planets, some look like nebulae, others are fully fleshed out universe. You can enter any you want at will. Focus on your DR and the map will move you to the right reality. Eventually when you use this method enough, you will know the map, and learn where you want to fly.

Visualization methods for people with Aphasia or other visualizing disorders:
Ask an artistic friend to draw you a picture of your DR or a DR person for you to focus on. Meditate with your eyes open while looking at the art of your DR.
Go to an art museum or print off some art work that represents your DR. Be sure it's printed, looking at a screen isn't the same.
Find art in a book to focus on.
learn open eye meditation methods so that you can focus on the pictures while you meditate or try any shifting method.
I have basically the opposite of this issue so I'm really not sure what would help, but there may be tips out there. Good luck.

Meditation methods I have tried for shifting -
Meditation basics used across all methods:
Stay in touch with your breathing. Try to keep your mind focused on your affirmation or your Desired Reality. If you find your mind wondering keep bringing it back to DR and focus on your breathing.
Tip: use your drowsiness/Sleepy state to your advantage. Just before falling asleep, when your very very very tired and drowsy. recite your affirmation and say to yourself or out loud "I want to wake up in my desired Reality". This can be used in combination with other methods.
Caution: Do not perform while drunk... just... don't...
Starfish:
Lay on your back and spread out like a starfish count to 100, and breath deeply.
Once you have reached 100 visualize your DR. Recite your affirmation. Go to sleep and you will wake up in your DR. This can also be accomplished by simply waking up from the mediation once you practice it enough.
Written Method:
-Write down in as much or as little detail what you want from your shift, or your DR. Put it in a letter or a notebook and keep that letter on notebook under your head or your body while you sleep. place it under your pillow or mattress. Think about the words and your DR while you sleep or the next time you are relaxing in bed. Use your affirmation to travel to that DR.
This method works best with hand written notes or messages, typed out by a computer and printed is fine, but can be less effective.
Door/Key:
While listening to a song that reminds your of a person from your DR, or the DR itself hold a key to a door, or picture the door you will walk through.
Focus on the DR while you listen to the song. At the end of the song use the key or open the door and walk through to your DR.
be sure to keep the key safe to not accidentally go into the wrong DR.
Rip Van Winkle (also Connection to Nature):
Lean up against a tree, be out in nature. this will work in a forest, a park or even your own back yard.
Focus your thoughts and energy with the tree. Picture yourself and the tree as one entity. then focus on your DR. Recite your affirmation as your visualize your DR. stay seated by the tree for as long as you want. when you open your eyes you will be in your DR.
Caution: This may invoke the help of Fairies folk near by, please consult your local lore before proceeding.
Leprechauns and Fairies won't be helpful
Leave alcohol nearby if you have elves
sprinkle salt of cinnamon for any other demons, negative energy or entities.
Law of Assumption:
YOU ARE IN YOUR DR
YOU ALREADY EXIT IN YOUR DR BECAUSE YOU ARE THE CREATOR OF YOUR REALITY AND YOUR LIVE IN YOUR DR.
Feel it. become it. Everything around you is the reality your created for yourself and it is exactly as you want it to be! Focus on this, assume you are already in the reality you want. You are your own DR.
Often can be accomplished with other focus mediation methods. You will notice small changes in your life while you do this method, it will not work All at once. This is not possible all at once if you DR it too different from your CR. It needs to happen gradually to be less intense on your nervous system
You can't just throw a 3D person into 2D universe with a snap of the universes fingers. It takes time for that shift (sometimes).
The law of assumption goes with the fact that every reality is SOMEONE'S desired reality, so when you leave, the version of you who considered your current reality to be a desired reality will take over.
Music:
-listen to a song that you wish to perform in your DR. Focus in your mind, act it out exactly as you see as if you are the actor in a musical either on stage or screen. when the song ends open your eyes and see yourself in your DR.
Caution: You may travel to a musical dimension in this case. Sometimes you get stuck there.
It truly is Hell, or at least a form of it... I suggest the Pepper Ann method if you get stuck there where you sing a song about wanting to go home or back to your original reality. if the regular return methods don't work.
P.S. My tried and true method for all universes as a way to get back home is humming the ending theme to the show "The Triples" the song "Being a witch is tough". I don't know why, but by the end of the song I am back in my CR every time. This may not work for everyone, you may have a different song.
Ride the Train:
Visualise yourself on a train. Sit in a comfortable chair and listen to sound of a train on a track. listen to the rythm of the train makes. Focus on the journey you are taking. Your DR is the last stop in this train. As the train moves forward recite your affirmation and visualise the train moving down the track. When the train stops to reach it's destination your will open your eyes and be in your DR.
Elevator:
Picture yourself on an elevator
-The basement hold all your worst memories.
-the second floor has a party with everyone who knows and loves you, living and passed on. Everything is bright and sunny and everyone is happy to see you.
-the top floor is empty and full of possibilities. you can go there to imagine your DR at any point.
Close your eyes wherever you are and imagine yourself riding the elevator to the very top floor.
Imagine your DR and when the elevator doors open you will step out into your DR.
Mirror Method:
Look at yourself in the mirror and recite your affirmations. When you go to bed that night focus on your DR and someone from your DR will be in your dream. If you go with them you will wake up in your DR.
P.S. This is my least favourite method because I don't like mirrors. and Mirrors hold magic in some universes, so be cautious with this one.
Sensory deprivation:
Cancel out all noise, all visual stimulus, get to a place where there is as little stimulation around you as possible. if you can use a sensory deprivation tank great, if not... find best methods.
While in your deprived state focus on your DR and recite your affirmation.
Hot Tea Meditation:
Can be done with real tea or imaginary tea.
Picture yourself siring a cup of tea, or stir your tea
while stirring clockwise - focus on your DR and say your affirmation
Start stirring counter clockwise and talk to someone from your DR as if you are having a lively conversation for a talk show or podcast.
By the time you finish the tea you should be in your DR.
P.S. Idea derived from the book "Before the coffee gets cold". Good book, but those rules don't apply for this method.
In summary
Shifting rarely happens on your first try don't be discouraged if it doesn't always work. Some DR are hard to reach, and it's easy to get fan fiction and knock off universes that seem so similar. The TV versions of DR are WAY easier than the book or actual minds of the creators. but it is possible!
