Quick question - anyone dealing with IRS delays because of misposted W2s?

My 2024 return has been pending since February. Turns out the IRS put most of my 2024 W2s into 2025 by mistake, so it looks like I only made $1K last year. I haven’t filed 2025 yet per my accountant + IRS rep, but they can’t seem to fix the error and my refund’s on hold.

State refund came in August after a separate issue got cleared up with one call. Federal is a whole other story.

If you’ve gone through this, how’d you get it resolved? Thanks in advance!
