I'm planning on buying a backpack for commuting and I've settled on an Osprey Metron, but don't know which model to go for. So hoping someone here might have some insights?

The airspeed back panel on the 34 seems really nice. I tend to run very hot, so having that extra cooling could be nice, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it would actually make. And it doesn't seem to open all the way like the 24 does, which seems like a very convenient feature.

But my main thing is, I am a small man, 5'5 and small frame. The 34 seems quite big, and I don't need a big bag. I don't want to be carrying around this massive thing that's way too big. On the other hand, it does have the extra adjustability in the back panel so could the 34 actually be more comfortable for someone my size, even if it is bigger than the 24?
