weight gain on trintellix vs viibryd?
hey all, i recently stopped taking viibryd after noticing significant weight gain; within two months i gained 25 lbs (which is 25 lbs over my previous heaviest weight), and after two months of being off of it ive lost almost all of the extra weight. i know i need to go back on anxiety medication, but im anxious (ha) that im going to gain weight.
my psych specifically said the next one he wants me to try is trintellix, but they’re so similar that im worried it will have similar side effects, and ive read some posts on here describing weight gain that isnt accounted for in studies. i was curious if anyone has tried both, and if anyone at all has somehow gained weight on viibryd but not trintellix? im also welcome to any advice from those who have tried both and favor trintellix.
