Gravy! Help!

I love real home made gravy and know how to make it from scratch so i do not need advice on making it. However, because i live alone i seldom cook something from which i can make a gravy (i.e. i do not cook roasts or chickens). I DO NOT like any of the commonly found canned/jarred gravies but I would like to be able to enjoy mashed potatoes with gravy without making a roast. Does anyone know if there is a really good premade gravy? Please do not suggest the commonly found brands from supermarkets, whether canned, jarred or powdered. I have tried a premade gravy from the high-end deli in my area, where they make their own turkey and turkey gravy, and it was completely ugh to me. I’m looking for some that are as authentic as possible, beef and turkey.

I am so disappointed. I have been promoting Walmart consistently over the past couple of years because I felt their quality was good and their prices were low. Just a month ago the six packs of soda that I buy had been rolled back to $4.27 a six pack. I went to buy some today and it was up to over five dollars a six pack. not only was the soda much higher, but Other items that I was used to buying regularly all seem to have taken a big jump in price. Does anyone know why this is happening?
