Not sure if others have noticed this around Toronto but during a typical 15–20 minute work break, it’s pretty common to lose 10–15 minutes just waiting in line at nearby spots.

Places that look quick from the outside aren’t always, and it ends up affecting how much time you actually get to eat or relax.

Feels like every decent spot is packed after 7pm now.

Either you guess and risk a long wait, or you keep hopping between places.

I’ve been trying to find a smarter way to pick spots based on how busy they are in real time, but not sure what people currently rely on.

Do you just wing it, or is there some trick I’m missing?
