I just had a argument with both my parents. I was talking about about starting a side hustle as a digital architect. Then my dad said that it will just be replaced by AI and the method will not work someday, when mark tilbury gave examples of people that were doing it for years. Then my mom came in and i told her about my plan of finishing the lycée and if my side hustle does become succesful, i wouldnt go to university because school teaches stuff i will probably us a dozen time in my lifetime. she agrees that it doesnt teach actual usefull stuff, but she recommends that i still go, but in not in a proper way. She literally pulls every argument she can think of and recommend quickly turns into forced pressure. i give her my arguments, but she just says that her arguments are better. she then says to not blame my parents because i was forced to go to university, when she presents so many goddamn arguments literaly pressuring me in doing so. i should also mention that my parents are no narcissist people, but sometimes i just feel like they dont give a shit about my opinions. They say "Fair" but then say their arguments and pressure me into accepting their fact.
