More than 4 months in. Doesn't take long at all to know Walmart is just bad. The job itself isn't terrible at times but management inside and out is while they screw us over and are hypocrites. 15 dollars isn't nowhere near enough for stockers. Worked my ass off since I started, still literally sweating up my ass. Hastily Viz picking, running picks, helping customers, and boom: Opportunity. Apparently walking around while doing our job is no longer allowed so brisk or fast walking is the bare minimum for getting around. 2% raise. 2 call outs. Other coworkers had more yet higher raises. Probably got written up before behind my back because I was told by TL to stop "talking" to my sister who also works in the store with me in a different department twice in the spam of 1 month when we literally just say or wave hi and resume working. Honestly I feel most people stay because they've committed too much of their time there, can't give up the "perks/benefits", or don't much have a choice. Oh yeah, TL and coach of my department never lifted a finger training me, just 1 coworker of 7 excluding my TL and they get mad for the workers not knowing what hasn't been taught to them. I know most of this is mostly other retail jobs too but I think its just more relevant in Walmart.
