Yeah, last night sucked. No way around it. But acting like it’s the end of the world isn’t changing anything except your blood pressure. Hockey’s part skill, part chance, part chaos, sometimes it just doesn’t go your way. This season was always a bit of a gamble anyway. New coach, Winter Olympics, injuries, weird timing with everything going on. Not exactly a recipe for a deep run. We’ve seen worse, and we’ve come back from worse.

Reality check:

Benn and Seguin likely aren’t going anywhere.

McDavid is not walking through our door.

Robo might be a question, but nothing’s happened yet.

This team is still in good hands.

Take a breath, log off for a bit, and move on. I’m not letting a first-round exit ruin my weekend or my summer.
