How does one go about finding an insurance agent or company to purchase an agency. My father's health is failing and looking into selling his practice of about 60 years. He has bought other agencies in the past and always told me it would be easy to sell the business but I'm at a loss of the price to ask and how to find the right buyer for him. He is not in a position to help in the sale. Mostly Property & Casualty. Agency is mostly rural Iowa. Any advice is appreciated.
