I’m looking for modern crime shows (preferably 2018+) with this specific format:

• one case per episode
• someone with a special ability / genius mind
• not a police officer, but helping the police
• similar vibe to The Mentalist, Castle, Lie to Me
• not too dark or brutal
• no hospital/medical shows

Basically those classic “consultant” procedurals – but newer ones.

• The Finder
• Will Trent
• Psych
• Elementary
• Deception
• Perception
• Instinct
• Harrow

(and most of the older classics in this genre)

Not looking for:

• one long case over a whole season
• very dark / depressing shows
• medical/hospital settings

especially newer or underrated shows I might have missed!
