If a girl from church follows a guy on Instagram and he follows her back, does that usually mean anything or is it just a normal social media thing?

We’ve kind of made subtle eye contact here and there since then, but we’ve never actually talked in person, which makes it a little funny/awkward considering we follow each other now. My church is also kind of traditional when it comes to girls approaching guys, so I was just curious what most guys would think in that situation. (young adults)
