Hi, I’m in London as an au pair trying to rematch.
I’ve been looking for a month now but it’s been really hard. I initially found my host family through a Facebook group, but now I go back and the group seems to have no activity. I’ve joined 5 other Facebook Groups already and none of them seem to have a lot of families in them.
I’ve tried aupair.com and aupairworld.com but I seem to be having the worst luck because the families I message don’t reply to me, and the ones that message me are always from random other countries or families that want 40 hours a week for £400 a month which is crazy.
P.S. Before anyone asks, yes, I have full right to work in the UK 🫶 (I’m actually worried families skip over me because I have this, and they’re looking for someone outside of the country that they can underpay)
