Boox Go Lumi 2 …sorta like it, but..
Cons
-hate the case. Wtf. Are there any other options?
-hate the pen. Not because of the writing but the pen feels cheap and it’s too round. It also has some rough edges on the end and yet is too slippery. Go figure. I assume there are no other options.
-I wish it were smaller. A tablet this size is just not good for reading without some sort of case to hold it and feel like it is safe
-there are some sharp edges to the tablet itself. As if the metal casing specs were slightly off.
-because of the shitty case, I feel like the device is unprotected and I am scared about damaging it. It feels vulnerable.

Pros
-I think there is a lot of good here. The screen is really nice. You do have to tweak the display but I think it looks good and the writing is good.
-the battery life is good enough
-access go the kindle store is nice.
-the operating systems seems nicely thought out for what it is
Other notes…
-this is not a tablet replacement. You’d be crazy to buy this to fit a role of a real tablet or even a big smart phone.
-the App Store does add something though and being able to run certain apps like the Kindle is important to me.
I probably should give up on finding a good e-ink reader that can take notes.
Ideally, it would be a smaller 7 inch e-ink tablet that can pull serious battery time, has a stylus and can run the kindle app. It has to be quality. No one wants a laggy device and a shit pen. My ultimate goal was to do active reading.
Taking notes while reading but it seems like I can’t find that sweet spot. All of these devices are too expensive to not be completely happy. Also dumb is to split your universe between Apple and Android. Lessons learned. Moving on. iPad seems like the way to go.
