Hey squad, my partner is 6’4 and around 100kg, he really wants to get into kayak sea fishing (minimal kayak experience, better at fishing) but he does not fit in my kayak.

I have a sit-in 11ft that he doesn’t like because he feels cramped in but I think that is mostly a width issue not length. It seems most kayak fishermen prefer sit-on anyway so any recommendations for him to begin with would be much appreciated. And if you could share your own experience/preference for sit-on.

Most of the fishermen in my area tend to go for Hobie’s but these are very expensive even pre-owned so something more suitable for beginners/beginner budget would be preferable.
