Reta feels like I'm hacking reality

Before reta, if I had a cheat day of sorts, I would balloon. If I ate anything unhealthy I'd shoot up like 5 illogical pounds of water or whatever tf and have to spend the rest of the week killing myself to get that scale back down. Well, yesterday my son wanted pizza so I order some pizza and wings and a brownie thing. I ate a good number of wings, had 2 slices of pizza, and even ate some brownies. I knew I shouldn't, but I did anyway. Well, fastforward to today. Woke up and went to the scale to see what the damage was......... my weight was exactly the same as it had been before eating the previous day. I was shocked. I even got out my backup scale (lol) and that one said the same thing. I was in awe. I was like.... how is this possible? Is it witchcraft? Is it sorcery? Is it voodoo?

First timer - pretty excited

Starting my first cycle tomorrow. I've done my research, but I'm still nervous. Excited though.

Do you have any sexual kinks that just aren't really possible anymore?

When I was a teenager, I really got off on having sex while her parents/family were home on the off chance that they might hear or we might get caught. The more risky the better. I once did hand stuff with a girl while many people were together in a living room watching a movie including her parents. To this day, I can't believe they didn't notice something was up. There was a blanket but still.

Nothing really matches that as an adult unless you're trying to get arrested for screwing in a public place or something - which I've not done. Lol

Wage discussing and no action

I see people discussing daily struggling to find jobs out of school, or when moving. I also see people discussing wage stagnation and struggling to afford living due to low wages. Yet, I simultaneously don't see non-license state techs fighting to make their state require a license nor do I see them fighting to make being a tech more exclusive. If a biology major can just jump in and take your job, your wages are never going to go up. I make nearly double what techs make 2 hours away in another state where they don't need a license and my bills aren't really any higher. Job scarcity leads to better wages. I also see people gladly welcoming people from other countries into the US who come here to quite literally take the jobs. That's fine and all but they, on average, get paid something like 25% less than the local techs. What incentive does your employer have to increase your pay if they can hire a biology major or a mail-order tech? People make no sense. We should all be striving for better pay. Other medical fields don't allow these things on this level. Our job is treated across more than half the country like anybody can just pop in and do it.

This has been the biggest change for me. Now, first, let me say that even before getting on reta, I'd overhauled my diet and was no longer overeating- but it was purely off will power. I often would try to explain to people that I almost NEVER felt "full". I could crush an entire pizza by myself and still feel like i could keep eating. All that would stop me is pure shame and disgust in myself. I wasn't even massively overweight. My highest point was maybe 235 pounds at 5 foot 8 (which is def fat for that height). I was 204 when I got on reta. I'd lost weight but still had a long way to go but stagnating for months and months. The hardest part as I slowly started gaining weight back was that I was always hungry even after I ate. So it felt more like I was punishing myself. But now, I truly feel full. Like right now for example, I last ate shortly before bed last night. It was some protein snacks I got to try. They were fine (protein snacks are never particularly good). But I'm still full. Which is like "Well, no duh. That's what glp-1 does." I know. But for someone who has tried to explain to those around him why it's so hard for me not to overeat, the fact that I'm really, truly, feeling full is.... profound.

I've never done any form of drugs. Not even weed. I'm an adult (33) male who lives alone and just works a lot. Life is just boring sometimes. I'm wondering if I should just buy some weed gummies and chill? And if "weed gummies" sounds like I don't know what I'm talking about, it's because I don't. Any other folk who've never done the devil's lettuce (lol) gave it a go and felt it improved the daily flow of monotonous life?

Right now, I get my trt from a non-grey prescription-based source. But as I explore the world, I am seeing I can get it much cheaper elsewhere. This isn't new info, but the difference is actually crazy. But anyway - my current one comes in grapeseed oil. Never thought much on it. Now I'm seeing they can come in sesame oil and others. This one brand comes in something called "Miglyol 812 MCT oil" which, upon googling, says it's even less irritating and hastens absorption. I'm leaning on pulling the trigger on this one, but I wanted to stop in and see if anyone had thoughts on this subject real quick. Thanks in advance.

I've read that some people don't take their Var on their rest days to allow their body time to heal. Just curious on what people's thoughts are regarding that practice and if most really just keep taking it or take a lower dose on their off day.

I use 25g for my T injection. I had a bunch of insulin sized needles sitting around so I am using those for the reta since it's reconstituted in water (T is in oil so it really struggles with too tiny of a needle it seems). But they seem to need quite a lot of force or penetrade my skin (belly versus quad for the T). I'm just wondering if that's normal perhaps for the small needle size or perhaps the penetration location?

I struggle with sleeping in general due to a hectic work schedule. I know people on certain things tend to have trouble sleeping as well. So, I thought maybe some folk in here might have recommendations for sleep aids? I've tried some basic sleep aid from Walmart and I've tried melatonin - both seem worthless. Maybe I need to start drinking tea before or something. lol

A nurse came up and said happy lab week when he dropped off a sample and said without us, they'd just be guessing. It was a simple statement, but it felt good being acknowledged. Thanks Fred the nurse. Appreciate you too.

After looking at lots of websites, I settled with this one and just received my first order. It came with a QR code leading to a site about purity. That's neat. Sidenote: This 12mg costed $99. Some dude on another post said you can get 60mg elsewhere for like $150. Is that price sketchy or am I just a naive noob? My first consideration is *what* I'm injecting, not the price. I don't want to inject some garbage into me. So this price seems okay. But if it's overpriced, I'd be interested in where the lower prices are.
