So I just landed a job at a PSU bank. My salary is 47k per month. What is a good amount to give at home? My father is a govt servant but rn he has a home loan going on. My grandpa is an ex serviceman but he takes care of the sabzi fruits but of the household...so how much is a good amount? Considering I want to also save a good amount before I get married. Also advice how should I save? Separate bank account? Investment?

So we have been together for 5 years...he had once made me a promise at the start of my preparation that if I clear a Banking exam he would give me an iPhone as a gift on the first day of joining. I have now cleared and joined one of India's most reputed public sector banks. He wanted to gift me on the first day itself but I had been stalling...never in my life have I accepted a gift worth more than 5k...after almost one and a half months of joining today he finally purchased it for me. I've been pushing him to please do 50-50 I even sent him the money but he sent it back..he himself is using a 13 but bought a 17 for me..I am feeling very uneasy and like I'm indebted to him or something 🥹 he has supported me so much during 3 years of unemployment stress, preparation and rejection phase of my life..he's truly my rock🧿🥹
