Hello.
So. Long story short I had a hire car for this fine, the company I hired the car from charged me £35, then got a letter through the mail from ECP stating I needed to pay the fine.

All good. However, where this car park is it is a retail park.
I went to around 4/10 shops and was there 14 mins after the 3hours. I filled the car up whilst there, spent around £700 at the stores at this retail park.
Could I contest this? Stupidly I don’t have reciepts but I do have bank statements for all the stores I shopped at (Morrisons,B&M, Foodwarehouse,Halfords,Fuel court, Timpsons (in Morrisons)) is there anyway o could contest this? If I emailed Morrisons with the bank statement stating I’d spent almost £200 with them and thier garage alone, would the charges be dropped?

Thanks.

So. Strap in.

I have worked at this establishment for 5+ years. We have ALWAYS had bank holiday pay.

Get the paychecks and boom, no bank holiday pay. Email the boss and they say that they don’t need to pay it so they haven’t.

I got into a disagreement. They never told anybody (as they have only just found out themselves) that the pay would be standard on a bank holiday, not the time and a half we have been getting for years now.

We have no contract, however if this has been a thing over years surely that demonstrates a understanding?

How do I approach this as they don’t seem to care, but I don’t appreciate my money getting messed with, and when everyone was under the implication of the higher wage ph surely that’s tampering/deductions of earnings no?
