I got upset that my partner wants to learn a language that I know (french) and am fluent in it, and I have offered to help and and teach them because it would create closeness, and they just kinda brush it off... cut to a few weeks later they told how they met someone (an elderly) that was a teacher at that language and they are excited that someone can help him with the language?
