HELLO! A little backstory, I (F) have had a crush on this gorgeous girl for over two years now, genuinely since the moment I saw her back in late 2023. Since then she and I have grown closer and we are now at the stage where I can confidinelty call us good friends. About a week ago she told me about this exhibition she went to, and she told me that her favourite part was the modern love and specifically the mixtapes. Btw this exhibition was all about love letters from the 1800s - now. Anyway, she told me how she thought the idea of it was really sweet and cool which go tme thinking... Her birthday is a little later this year and i though what if I made her a mixtape??! It would be a CD because I wouldn't have a clue how to work tapes, but I have a family member who makes CDs who can teach me. I would add her favourite songs, maybe a couple of mine (she says my music taste is 'elite' which im not disagreeing iwth but I think she would like it), and maybe a love song or two (MAYBE IDK YET). Regardless, my question is do you guys think it is too much to give a friend something like that?? I'm not crafty at all so it is a bit out of character for me to make something but I just love the idea of it.
