So I’m getting top surgery in less than two months and I’ve been kinda worried about taking care of my hair properly post op, as I have a fairly large afro.

I’ve considered doing different kinds of braids or twists, but when I’ve done that in the past it’s been an absolute sensory hell for me and I don’t think I could tolerate that very long.

I’m just wondering if anyone with similar hair types/length have any advice for how to keep my hair healthy, clean, and manageable for the first like 6 weeks or so.
